Pocher Alfa Romeo Spider

Here are some pictures of a project I'm working on:  1932 Alfa Romeo Spider Touring Gran Sport, an 1/8 scale model from Pocher.

As you sure know, the Pocher models are not made anymore, so this is an eBay purchase. I have spiced it up with some aftermarket parts from ModelMotorcars to add detail and realism.

Here is the engine and gearbox before it was mounted into the chassies:

 

Rear axle. The leaf springs and brake linkages are from ModelMotorcars. Leaf springs are all medal, made from individual sheets of stainless steel, looks much better than the plastic ones from Pocher! 

Detail of wire wheels. Each wheel has 60 spokes... times six wheels! (The finished car has two spare wheels)
