Friday practice - selected team and driver quotes
Following a delayed start to Friday practice at the Circuit of The Americas due to fog and issues with the medical helicopter, the running got underway with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso posting the fastest time in the morning, and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel in the afternoon. Rookies Daniil Kvyat for Toro Rosso and Caterham's Alexander Rossi both impressed in FP1, whilst Lotus debutant Heikki Kovalainen ended FP2 an impressive fifth. They join other drivers and senior team personnel in reflecting on a disrupted opening day in America
