97 F-150 work truck for a friend...FINISHED!

Here's my latest quickie project.  A good buddy of mine at work is retiring and we found out two weeks ago that he considered the highlight of his career to be during his Drive Smart days when he traveled the state inspecting car seats and teaching driver safety, work zone safety, etc.  He was also instrumental in getting a new road safety product into our state that has yielded incredible results in reducing lane departure crashes. 

His comments gave us the bright idea to make him a little display with an engraved plate mounted to a base coated in the safety product with a replica of his drive smart truck mounted on top.  As the modeler of the group, I was tasked with the truck...in less than two weeks!  Here it is after four days:

I still need to apply the custom decals, antennas, and build a topper for it.  Still lots to do...
