Sebastian Vettel continued Red Bull’s impressive form in Singapore by topping the order during FP2.
The German’s time of 1.48.340 was enough to secure top sport from Jenson Button, who was three-tenths slower.
Fernando Alonso rounded off the top three in the final Friday session.
Mark Webber, Lewis Hamilton, Paul di Resta, Nico Hulkenberg, Nico Rosberg, Felipe Massa and Romain Grosjean completed the top ten.
The anticipated bad weather in Singapore steered clear of FP2, allowing teams up and down the grid to get plenty of running ahead of Saturday’s qualifying sessions.
Paul di Resta led the way early on, as the Force India once again looked impressive.
However, as the time ticked by the usual suspects began to occupy the top positions.
The lead consistently swapped between the Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull drivers, with Hamilton and Webber posing the biggest threats to Vettel.
The double World Champion stole the show with a stunning final sector that put him atop the order.
The momentum would appear to be with the Austrian team ahead of FP3 and qualifying, as they look to gain the upper hand once more in the Constructors’ battle.
